The Cable Test Manager is a manager-type dialog divided into multiple panels:
Important: It is not possible to create Projects, Subprojects or Test Setups directly in this dialog; that must be done in Linkware. However, the dialog offers buttons that take the user to the right place in Linkware, as a convenience. Of course, the user could also create these items in Linkware independently, ahead of time.
The screenshot below shows an example of a Cable Test Manager dialog that has an existing Linkware Project selected with some populated data.
![]() In the unusual case where there are no existing Linkware projects, the dialog is slightly different; the third button on the left panel would be labeled "Create Linkware Project" and other panels would show no data populated in the grids. The screenshot below shows a similar example, when the selected project has no Task Requests assigned or no reports generated:
