Cable Use CasesThe topics in this section focus on using DDR to bulk import cable routing and connectivity information using CSV import files.
Important: When a power Cable is connected to a power consumer (Equipment), it may cause the Port at the other end of the Cable to become overloaded, or any further upstream Ports or Equipment objects to become overloaded. Similarly, if a power Cable is connected to a power supplier (PDU, power strip, breaker, etc.), the Equipment at the other end of the Cable may draw enough Power to overload the Port, the Equipment, or something upstream. The user is normally warned about these potential power overloads via a dialog that pops up. However, in case of the DDR Import operation, the overload warning is displayed in the last step of the wizard, similarly to how other warnings are displayed, indicating the source of the potential issue with the number of row in the first column.
