MAC Status Indicators

 

 

IRM incorporates a MAC status indicator in various places, to enhance the user's awareness of whether a MAC is currently in effect for the user. This guide outlines the areas where the MAC status indicator can be found, other than the Design World, and how it can be used.  The MAC status indicator is displayed in the following areas:

 

 The MAC status is shown in the title bar of the Rack Elevation dialog.

 

 

 The title bar of the Butterfly Diagram dialog includes the MAC status indicator.

 

 

The MAC status indicator is shown at the top right corner of the main screen.

 

 

 

The title bar of the Equipment Properties dialog includes the MAC status indicator.

 

 

The title bar of the Software Properties dialog includes the MAC status indicator.

 

 

The title bar of the Cable Properties includes the MAC status indicator.

 

 

The title bar of the Pathway Properties dialog includes the MAC status indicator.

 

 

The title bar of the User Properties dialog includes the MAC status indicator.

 

 

Active MAC status: An active state is represented by a round "recording on" icon along with its corresponding MAC name.

 

Inactive Status: When no MAC is active a grey icon is displayed alongside No Mac.

 

Note: You can access the MAC Manager directly by clicking on the icon or MAC name in any of the specified interfaces shown above.
