Peripherals
IRM supports tracking and managing peripheral Equipment, such as external disks, monitors, printers, etc., for an associated Equipment instance. This is enabled through the Peripherals tab in the Equipment Properties dialog:
The Peripherals tab allows the user to track information about peripheral Equipment that may be bundled with the selected equipment. The main portion of the tab is reserved for a data grid which lists all Equipment objects attached to the selected equipment.
The two action buttons enable removing (the "x" button) and adding a new a Peripheral (the "+" button).
Clicking on the "+" button opens the Add New Peripheral dialog, which lists

all Peripheral Equipment Types categorized in the C&T tree on the left and

instances of the selected Peripheral Equipment Type, along with its basic properties in a separate data grid on the right:
Equipment that qualifies to be added as a Peripheral are the ones which have the "Is a Peripheral" property is set to true:
Also, instances of an Equipment Type that has the "Is a Peripheral Type" property is set to true also qualify:
