Please be advised that when configuring access permissions in the Site Grouping Properties dialog and granting All groupings access to a user ( as shown in the screen shot below ), this will provide access to all items listed within All grouping defined in the IRM system.  Be aware that an IRM grouping can be used to grant access to :
 
  • Areas
  • Equipment
  • Cables
  • Pathways (trays, ducts, or ladders)
  • Circuits
  • Software
  • Maintenance holes
  • Locations
  • Spaces
  • Groupings
  • Contacts
  • Users
  • Vendors
  • Projects
  • Contracts
  • MAC tickets

    Furthermore, should the grouping include an Area filter, the user will gain access to all objects within that specific Area.  This means that if your organization makes extensive use of Groupings, you may be giving the user access to a substantial fraction (or potentially even all) of the objects in the IRM deployment.
