4.1.4.1. General Layout

The general layout of the user interface for the different types of iiPDF Exports is the same - all pages display two datagrids - iiPDF Configurations and the iiPDF Outputs grid.

Configuration Grid

The column data in each type of iiPDF Export Configuration grid does vary slightly, but generally keeps to the same format.

Common Grid Columns
Name - Name of the iiPDF Configuration
Site - Name of the Site from which the export data is retrieved
Save output - If set to yes, the output is saved in the Outputs data grid, from where the user can view the outputs, download them, etc. If this property is set to No, the output is generated without saving.
Type of Recurrence - Hovering the mouse over the View link under this column displays a tooltip showing the type of schedule currently applied to the Configuration - as shown below, or, in case no recurrence was set, it shows None:

Specific Grid Columns
Area(s) - The specific Area(s) associated with the Area iiPDF Configuration.
Format - Specifies the Format of the output that will be generated by the Area and Data iiPDF Configuration ( e.g. JSON, CSV, HTML, XLS).
Rack(s) / Cabinet(s) - The specific Rack(s) or Cabinet(s) associated with the Elevation Configuration.
Category - The Super Category associated with the Data iiPDF Configuration.

Additional action buttons common to all Configuration data grids:
- Edit entry - enabled only for the of the Configuration creator (owner).
- Delete entry - enabled only for the of the Configuration creator.
- Schedule Job - allows the user to set a recurring schedule for when to generate new content.
- Run now - allows the user to generate new content based upon the current data.
- allows the user to search and filter for specific configurations, which is useful in large environments where many Configurations may exist
- Enables creating a new iiPDF Configuration. Click on it opens the same dialog as for the pencil button, with the caveat that in this case there's an additional pop-out dialog for selecting a Site that opens before the Configuration dialog.
- opens a subdialog listing all Export tasks that are currently in progress, completed or failed. The user can also cancel running tasks using the Cancel Task Action - X button

Output Grid

Column data is the same as for the Configurations grid, the only difference is in the Action buttons:
- Delete entry - delete the generated content for the selected row.
- Toggle archive - set/unset the archive flag on the object - this means it is retained in the system but will be hidden from the active output list.
- Schedule Job - allows the user to set a recurring schedule for when to generate new content.
- Download Output file - download a copy of the Output file onto the users local system.
