MAC Editor

The MAC Editor is used to review the objects and operations that are logged in the MAC.  It allows the user to organize MAC entries into Work Packages which are used to group and distribute specific MAC operations to the relevant engineer or technician. The MAC Editor also provides the capability of associating the MAC to a project.

The MAC Object Grid tab is used to list all MAC 's defined in the system:
All MACs have several context menu options enabled, such as the standard ones (Edit Properties, Copy, Add to Favorites and Quick Duplicate), with the addition of options for changing MAC state directly from the MAC Object Grid tab:

The MAC Editor is accessed by clicking on MAC Name in the Name column:

It is also possible to set MACs State, by clicking on the drop-down the Change State menu on the bottom of the dialog in any of the tabs :

Note: This is also possible in the Ticket Manager,  when opening a ticket which has MAC assigned, it is possible to set MACs lifecycle state via action buttons in the footer of the Ticket Manager similar to those in the Mac Manager dialog. In MAC Object Grid tab, it's possible to right-click on a MAC entry and set its lifecycle state from context menu.
