The Context Menu zone is available from almost everywhere including using the Context-menu call key, where available. Once the context menu opens the cursor will be located on the "zero" item. This is done so that if the user uses the keyboard instead of the mouse, they will see the position of the cursor after using the arrow keys ( ↑ ( up arrow ), ↓ ( down arrow ) ).
After opening a context menu, the following keys are available:
↑ ( up arrow ) - move to the previous item in the context menu. After the context menu opens or if the keyboard cursor is located on the first item, when you press this key, the cursor will be on the last item of the menu.
↓ ( down arrow ) - move to the next item in the context menu. If the cursor is located on the last item, when you press this key, the cursor will be on the first item of the menu.
Context-menu key - completely closes all context menus.
Enter key - has different actions depending on where the cursor is:
If the cursor is placed outside the context menu, pressing this key completely closes the entire context menu.
If the cursor is on an item that has a sub-menu (there is a small triangle on the right side of the item), when you press this key, the sub-menu will open and the cursor will be on the first item of the sub-menu.
If the cursor is on an item that does not have a sub-menu, when you press this key, the action of this item will be invoked.
If the cursor is on an item that is disabled, when you press this key it completely closes the entire context menu.
Esc key - closes the last open context menu. That is, if a sub-menu is opened, the Esc key closes it and the cursor will revert to the item that opened the sub-menu. If only the context menu is opened (no sub-menu), this key completely closes the entire context menu.
→ ( right arrow ) - If the cursor is on an item that has a sub context menu (there is a small triangle on the right side of the item), when you press this key, the sub-menu will open and the cursor will be on the first item of the sub-menu.
← ( left arrow ) - If the cursor is in a sub-menu, when you press this key, it closes the sub-menu and the cursor will revert to the item that opened the sub-menu.
