The Data Export mechanism is used to export column data defined by the user into CSV, JSON, XML or PDF format. This feature is available from IRM's main screen and is accessed by selecting the Data Export Manager option from the drop-down menu located above the Object Grid in the Function bar:
This opens the Data Export Manager dialog, which lists available Data Export Configurations in a data grid, along with its basic properties:
The Data Export is based upon creating a Data Export Configuration which defines the content, data columns and output format to be exported (explained in the following sub-topic).
The dialog enables basic management of existing configurations, that is:
- creating a new configuration
- running a data export based on an existing configuration
- creating a new configuration
- running a data export based on an existing configuration
- making configuration private / public
- editing an existing configuration
- removing a configuration
