Step 1: Select source data
The DDR Wizard -Source data dialog is the first screen displayed in the DDR Wizard Interface, as seen below. This dialog enables specifying the format and location of the data source. To show the most common features of this dialog for all types of objects (as mentioned earlier), we will show an example of importing .csv Pathway object data in order to update the existing Pathway object inventory.
To select and upload the desired Spreadsheet file click on the
Upload CSV file button

, which opens the
Upload file dialog:
Click on the Select file button, which opens the standard browser file upload dialog. After selecting the file, its name is displayed in the File to upload grid, along with its size, status and an additional action button for removing. Click on the Upload button animates the Progress bar, indicating the progress of the file upload, closes the dialog and brings focus back to the DDR Wizard dialog.
Specify the destination IRM Super Category to migrate the data into by selecting the object type associated with the data source by clicking on the Select Object Type for import drop-down menu:
The Upload ZIP file button enables the user to import multiple attachments to a single DDR object at the same time, such as image data, in addition to the .csv file. Click on it opens the same Upload file dialog, where user uploads a single zip file that contains both the CSV and the attachments, organized in sub directory as shown below:
Zip file structure (standard):
If any references in the CSV don’t exist in the zip file, warnings (not errors) are reported during the final results review step. In zip file mode, the source CSV file is expected to have a column called “Attachments” that has attachment references, such as, for example, "attachment1.jpg", or "my_dir/attachment3.jpg", or ["attachment1.jpg", "my_dir/attachment3.jpg", ...]. If this column does not exist, all rows will get the missing attachment warning. In case some rows do not list any attachment; that is not a problem, nor a warning.
Click on the
