Trigger Action Log is a mechanism that enables the user to track Actions performed by various sources, such as Alerts and Schedules. The feature is accessed via a dedicated “View Action Log” button on the bottom of the Schedule editor, Trigger Action Manager and Alert Manager dialogs:
Alternatively, the dialog can be accessed from the main application screen, via the Managers menu:
The button opens a dedicated Action Logs dialog, which shows a standard paginated data grid listing all Action Log records, which have a Trigger Action, Alert, or Schedule as the Source Type. The column data can be sorted for each column and additionally can be filtered by the Source Type column, as can be seen below:
Additional detail for each Action Log entry can be seen in a sub-dialog, which is opened by clicking on the small eye button under the Actions column -
As can be observed from the screenshot above, the Action Log Details shows details of the Action, such Priority, the actual content of the Notification (in this example), the result, etc.
