4.2.1.1. User Accounts - Concepts and Terminology
The following classes of IRM Users Accounts can be defined when creating new user accounts:

Only have the ability to create and view Reports and Exports, such as Area iiPDFs and Elevation iiPDFs.

They can only access the non-administrative parts of the Global Console.

They cannot access the IRM Web Client.

Have the ability to Upload, Edit or Delete Report Templates from the system.

Have all the same access permissions as Report Viewers

They can access the IRM Web Client.

This class is suitable for users who only need to service Tickets and browse some data, such as Equipment and Equipment Types in support of servicing Tickets. Generally, Technicians are treated like Normal users, except that they can't create new objects, neither on the Global Console, or the Web Client. Otherwise, you need to license Normal, Report Viewer, or some other classes of IRM User.

Have access to both the non-administrative parts of the Global Console.

Administrative capabilities are granted by their assigned User or Team Policies.

They have access to the IRM Web Client.

Access rights is granted based upon their assigned individual or Team assigned permission.

Admin Users have access to all tabs of the Global Console and full Web Client functionality, Also, they can view, edit and delete Private configuration or files of other users.

This is a special account used by developers for debugging purposes.
Note: IRM Users refer to people that can login to the IRM software and should not be confused with the Users tab in the Web Client which refer to persons that can be assigned to Configuration Items for Asset Management purposes.
