Contacts and Vendors are quite straightforward and don't have special properties, behaviors or dialog tabs, while Users are a bit more complex. The Properties dialogs for all three types of objects contain the standard tabs (General, Categories and Attachments).
The User dialog also contains additional tabs, all of which are explained in more detail in the following images and text:
User Properties
The User Properties dialog is the most complex of the three, because in addition to the standard General, Category and Attachments tabs it contains additional tabs, each one for the Super Category of objects that Users can have assigned.
Information displayed for each object instance is contained inside a separate accordion tab named after the corresponding object instance. Each accordion group can be collapsed (closed) and expanded (opened) simply by a single left click on it, which is useful in case of multiple objects. The data displayed inside each accordion group for all of these tabs is the same data that is displayed for the object instance in its General tab of their Properties dialogs.
The following object types (Super Categories) can be assigned to Users:
Location - the Location tab displays the basic information about the Location objects assigned to the selected User. In this example only one Location object (Cube B1-F1-2) is assigned to the selected user.
Equipment - the Equip tab displays the basic information about the Equipment objects assigned to the selected User. In this example multiple Equipment objects are assigned to the selected user, with the sections for several of them shown in the collapsed mode.
Circuit - the Circuit tab displays the basic information about the Circuit objects assigned to the selected User. In this example only one Circuit object (T1 Circuit 1) is assigned to the selected user.
Grouping - the Grouping tab displays the basic information about the Grouping objects assigned to to the selected User. In this example no Grouping objects are assigned to the selected user.
MAC - the Change Logs tab displays the basic information about the MAC changes the selected user recently made. In this example no Change Logs are discovered for the selected user.
The Contact Editor dialog contains the three standard tabs that are common in many Object Properties dialogs throughout the application: General, Category and Attachments. The Attachments tab is explained in more detail in step 4.
The Vendor Editor dialog also contains the three standard tabs that are common in many Object Properties dialogs throughout the application: General, Category and Attachments.
