Three types of CommScope supported Sync Ops:
Devices SyncOps.
Patch CablesSync Ops.
Work OrdersSync Ops.
Sync Op Modes
You can change the mode used by editing the Sync Op entry.
If the edit button is disabled means that the current Sync Op mode is set to Incremental mode.
To edit an Incremental Sync op it must first be stopped by hitting the stop button.
Manual Mode:
In Manual Mode, you have full control over the synchronization process. You manually initiate the sync operations for specific changes or updates in the network. This mode is suitable when you want to carefully review and approve each change before implementing it. It allows you to take a hands-on approach and make decisions on when and how the sync operations should be executed.
Incremental Mode:
Incremental Mode actively monitors changes in Patch cables, Devices, and Work Orders. Using this mode will automatically report physical changes to the IRM Alert interface. Here the user can decide to accept the change which will update the IRM connectivity model or, deny the change which will raise and send a work order to the Controller for the original connection to be reinstated. This mode is ideal for streamlining repetitive tasks, reducing manual effort, and ensuring that network changes are promptly and automatically reflected in IRM.
