4.3.7.4. Mapping Cable Media to Ports and Plug Connection Points
This section explains how to map cable media to specific Connection Points within the associated Equipment Port or Cable Plug.
The user will also have additional options available to them: Plug Mapping, when multiple Plugs are being connected in the same operation, and Media Mapping, when multiple Media are being connected to a Port.
The first feature enables controlling exactly which Plug is connected to which Port. The second feature enables controlling exactly which Media is connected to which connection point in the Port.
